The STORY

Okavango Gin was inspired by the pristine wilderness of the Okavango Delta. We aim for others to be similarly inspired by nature, an inspiration key for the continued protection of the world’s natural places. Our brand incorporates elements of a true wilderness, with unique and endearing stories, through which we communicate the wonders of nature, and connect people with it.

The SENTINEL

Our foundation gin is named after a member of a baboon troop that perches aloft a termite mound scouting for the ever present threat of predators; and honours its key role in the functioning of the Okavango ecosystem. Our blend of organically refined Okavango Water and the subtle elements of the Mopane seed fuse together to form the fingerprint of our contemporary gin; an earthy, pure, dry and rustic African charm. A Double Gold accolade in 2022 at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition salutes our achievements. PULA!
